$40.00/hour

As a Postpartum doula, I provide valuable support to new parents overnight or through out the day, offering assistance with newborn care and helping parents get as much rest as they need. I often assist with feeding, soothing, and diaper changes, light household chores just as doing the dishes and laundry allowing parents to have uninterrupted sleep for overnights or to take care of their own needs during the day. Additionally, as a postpartum doula I provide emotional support, guidance on newborn care, breastfeeding and help foster a positive and confident transition into parenthood during those crucial early weeks. My goal is to ensure that parents can rest and recover while also facilitating a smooth adjustment to the challenges of caring for a newborn.

My name is Jessica Modesto, and I am proud to offer my recommendation to Giulia Salles to whom I have personally known since the first weeks of my pregnancy as my Doula.
Throughout my pregnancy, Giulia provided information that was fundamental to educate me and my husband about the process. As first time parents, it was essential to prepare us to the labour and the postpartum, as well.
Giulia’s empathy, knowledge and techniques applied were crucial to my comfort and empowerment during the birth.During the postpartum visit, Giulia assessed the breastfeeding, guided us through the first months, and helped us hands-on with our little one.
Hiring Giulia as my doula was definitely one of the best decisions I had towards my pregnancy, and fundamental to my mental and physical health.
If you have any requests or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards,
Jessica Modesto

My experience with Giulia has been incredible! I don't see myself going through this pregnancy without her support, as it has been essential in making me more confident about giving birth. She knows exactly how to give me the information I need to continue having a calm and peaceful experience. I feel very lucky to have her by my side during my pregnancy. I highly recommend her work, as in addition to having a lot of knowledge, she is patient, calm, friendly, and I can say that she certainly makes all the difference in this very important moment! Thank you for everything Giulia!!

Soraya

Giulia was excellent!  The induction journey I went on took a full week, but she was there to coach me with advice and support the whole time.  On delivery day, she was helpful without interfering with the midwife or eventual OB we needed.  She is also a lovely person with a calming presence.  Highly recommend!

Nancy

As first time parents recovering from a C-section, we had it rough! Giulia was truly heaven sent. She did everything and anything to help us settle to our new roles as parents. She has a calming presence thats so nice to be around especially when things become a bit hectic with a newborn. We learned so much about baby care, breastfeeding and general postpartum general wellness. Don't hesitate, Giulia is the best!

Hello!

Giulia came to us in an emergency situation and I couldn't have been more grateful and satisfied with her support. We clicked right away, she was and still is very supportive and positive, and has a way with newborns that's earned her the title of "baby whisperer" in my view.

I've had the pleasure of working with Giulia twice now since my birth story wasn't as expected. Even inbetween overnight support, she has reached out checking in on me and baby.

Giulia is the sweetest! You will not be disappointed with her by your side. Big thanks to you Giulia! <3

Samantha

Our experience with Giulia as our doula has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we brought our newborn home, Giulia has been a pillar of strength and reassurance for my wife, guiding us through the challenging first two weeks with grace and understanding. Her attitude towards support is remarkable—she's always been both proactive and reactive to our baby's needs, making the transition to parenthood much smoother for us.
Giulia's knowledge and expertise in newborn care are evident in every interaction. She helped us navigate the overwhelming world of baby products, recommending essentials like the breast pump and play mats, which have become indispensable to us. What stood out most was her ability to explain complex topics in a way that was easy to understand, empowering us to feel more confident as new parents.
Punctuality is another of Giulia's strengths; she was incredibly on time for every visit, which was incredibly reassuring and allowed us to rely on her fully without any reservations. Through her dedication and genuine passion for her work, it's clear that helping families during this significant life transition is not just a job for Giulia, but a calling. We are deeply grateful for her support and cannot recommend her highly enough to any new parents looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and reliable doula.
